McKenzie E. Bush

McKenzie’s practice focuses on estate planning, taxation, special needs planning, trust and estate administration, and business law.

McKenzie graduated magna cum laude from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Asian Studies. She then earned her law degree, also magna cum laude, from Notre Dame Law School, where she served as a Moot Court Team Captain, received multiple faculty and academic awards, and led outdoor expeditions for fellow students. Prior to joining the firm, McKenzie clerked in the Eastern District of North Carolina. She is a member of the North Carolina and Durham County Bar Associations and the Durham-Orange Estate Planning Council.

As an attorney, she prides herself on being attentive and leveraging her growing experience in the areas of tax and trusts and estate law to guide clients through complex planning with confidence and care. Outside of work, she enjoys sculpt yoga, exploring new restaurants, caring for her partner and friends, and spending time in nature with her beloved Labrador.
