We advise executors and beneficiaries on the court-supervised distribution of a deceased person’s assets (probate).

Our involvement can range from assistance with court filings to a more active role in the transfer and distribution of assets and assistance with related tax returns.

We also advise families about trust administration and associated tax issues. We assist trustees in their duties, including their fiduciary obligations to trust beneficiaries and minimizing taxes and administrative burdens. We routinely help modify or decant older or outdated trusts to better meet financial, tax, and other family goals.
